Privacy & POPIA Notice

1. Who we are
Blu Label Group ("we", "us") operates the TalentPilot recruitment platform to manage applications for vacancies across our subsidiaries.
2. Information we collect
When you apply, we collect: name, contact details, location, current/previous employment, qualifications, skills, salary expectations, CV/documents, and (optionally) demographic information for Employment Equity reporting under the EE Act.
3. Lawful basis
We process your information on the basis of your explicit consent provided at the time of application, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
4. How we use your information
- To evaluate your application against open vacancies
- To communicate with you about the recruitment process
- For statutory Employment Equity reporting (in aggregate, anonymised)
- If you have consented, to keep you in our talent pool for future opportunities
- For audit, legal and regulatory compliance
5. Sharing
Your information is accessible only to authorised personnel involved in the recruitment process. We do not sell your data. Where roles are filled by partner agencies, only the minimum necessary information is shared.
6. Retention
We retain unsuccessful application data for 12 months from the date of decision, after which it is deleted unless you have consented to remain in our talent pool. Successful applicants' data transfers to our HRIS upon onboarding.
7. Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
